Stephan Busque MD, MSc

Associate Professor, Director, Adult Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program, Stanford University School of Medicine

Stephan Busque is professor of surgery at Stanford University and the surgical director of the Adult Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program. A native of Montreal, he obtained his MD degree and pursued his general surgery training at the University of Montreal. He then spent two years as a research fellow in transplant immunology at McGill University followed by a multi-organ transplant fellowship at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. His research interests are the advancement of clinical immunosuppression, tolerance induction after kidney transplantation and desensitization.
