Margaret R. Jorgenson PharmD, BCTXP

University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics

Margaret Jorgenson has been a clinical pharmacist at UW Health in Madison WI for the past 13 years practicing in both the inpatient and ambulatory abdominal transplant care areas. Having completed an infectious diseases pharmacy residency during the rise of antimicrobial stewardship, and now currently leading CMV antiviral stewardship at UW Health, the concept of stewardship is near and dear to her heart. Her research focuses broadly on quality improvement related to transplant processes and therapeutics, giving her insight into common limitations associated with the interpretation of medication use data.
